Abstract

Social collectives are today increasingly more complex. As a result their coherence suffers and their pathologies become more apparent. A theory that can create generic models of pathologies be will be explored in terms of the knowledge cybernetics schema. One of the outlying consequences of such a model is the realisation that many social collectives are spociopathic, working for their own perceived benefit (and sometimes duplicitously so) against the viable interests of the society in which they exist. This is not just a problem of ethics and many might suggest, but extends to ideology that ethics serve.
