Managing Innovation for Service through Systems Concepts

This paper focuses on innovation management for service. After examining and classifying service industries and service activities in firms, possible incorporation of other systems concepts into Innovation Architecture methodology will be considered. Then the methodology will be applied to commercial e-marketplaces for steel sheet and for food supplies, and to the services of a railroad company and related regional development, both of which are regulated by local governments in Japan.
